MTS announces a launch of the fourth enrollment in MTS StartUp Hub acceleration program

Moscow, Russia, MTS PJSC (NYSE: MBT, MOEX: MTSS), the largest Russian telecom company and provider of digital solutions announces a launch of the fourth enrollment in MTS StartUp Hub acceleration program within which technological start-ups will be able to integrate their solutions and products in the company’s business.


MTS StartUp Hub innovative site starts to accept applications for start-ups for the fourth enrollment in MTS accelerator within which technological projects will be able to carry out a paid pilot project with the company and to receive access to the carrier’s customer base exceeding more than 100 m subscribers, sales channels and infrastructure.  In the future, the accelerator participants will be able to scale up their business by becoming long-term partners of MTS.


Focus areas of the fourth enrollment:

– Internet Shop: the Internet shop shop.mts.ru is ready to consider solutions for increasing sales and efficient order execution;

– Cloud Services: CloudMTS provider is ready to consider product and technological solutions based on cloud services for its customers;

– Customer Service: MTS is ready to consider services for enhancing the customer service quality and improving operation of call centers;

– Ticket Services: Ticketland and Ponominalu ticket platforms belonging to MTS are ready to consider projects for improving the quality of interaction with the audience, organizers of events and artists.


“In the fourth enrollment of the accelerator we involve new business lines of MTS ecosystem: ticket services and customer service. Within the scope of these business lines, in the first of these tracks we expect to see projects in predicative analytics, as well as services for organization of events and integration of sponsors and partners therein. Moreover, we are interested in the tailored content delivery to the audience and video streaming from events. As for the customer service, we are ready to consider solutions in end-to-end analytics of the customer behavior, remote sales and robotization of business processes of call centers and retail outlets” – Head of MTS StartUp Hub Dmitry Kurin said. “I would like to emphasize that we are pleased to continue work with our former business customers – #CloudMTS и Shop.mts – which have already implemented in their structures several technological solutions of start-ups from previous accelerator enrollments. Now they have new requirements and needs which we hope to meet with the help of start-up developments”.


Within a two-month acceleration program, start-ups in conjunction with business customers from MTS will prepare for the pilot project. The acceleration also includes expert and mentor assistance. Following the program, start-ups will show their results on the Demo Day for MTS top managers and external investors. The judges will evaluate to what extent the start-up has been successful in preparation: performed all tasks and explored details of the future pilot project with a business customer. At this stage, the best start-ups will be selected and invited to launch a paid pilot project. The company is ready to provide start-ups involved in acceleration with all necessary resources, including a processing capacity, place for work, hybrid cloud solutions and access to API of MTS different services, not claiming a share in the project. The applications will be selected until 18 October. For all detail of participation and requirements for start-ups, see the website.


MTS StartUp Hub is an innovative site to transform technological projects in profitable business, consisting of the corporate accelerator, 5G incubator, MTS venture fund, quick launch of pilot projects and foreign representative offices. The goal of MTS StartUp Hub acceleration program is to develop actively start-up teams through mentoring, training and expert support to prepare products for a pilot project with the company. Following the three accelerator enrollments, over 1500 teams applied for participation and 40 of them completed the program. As a result, 33 pilot projects have been launched and 15 have been scaled up.
