MTS advises of a new cloud area creation on the basis of Containerum team, a start-up completed acceleration on MTS StartUp Hub innovative site. For customers of #CloudMTS provider a cloud service will be developed capable of doubling the speed of IT solutions launch and increasing competitive advantages of the Russian business.
Within the scope of the new cloud area #CloudMTS will provide the companies with containerized services that ensure a much quicker development, implementation and administration of IT solutions in cloud. The cornerstone is the start-up own development – a platform having the same name Containerum that will be customized to operate in the provider’s cloud.
Applications will be created in several steps, the key of which are service development and commissioning. Traditionally, services are developed in one technological environment and implemented in another environment. Hence, a conflict may arise between the development environment of IT solutions and that of their implementation and use. The availability in one place (the container) of all components requisite for creating and launching applications helps to save time on IT solution adaptation to the new environment. Such approach accelerates significantly the development and launch of new services in the market.
Major companies from the financial sector, manufacturing industry and retail will be able to speed up considerably the development and implementation of business applications and external customer services reducing time-to-market. Technological start-ups, fin-tech companies and online aggregators of goods and services will be able to increase dramatically fault tolerance of their services and scale up resources more quickly. For instance, by using containerized technologies banks will accelerate development and implementation of online banking services and customer mobile applications. Large industrial companies will be able to reduce costs and simplify administration of applications of business analytics. New service Containerum Managed Kubernetes will be provided in a form of service. It will allow the companies to reduce costs related to new IT solution development and launch in the market at least by 40%. The service will help to use the cloud space more reasonably: one virtual server will accommodate twice or thrice as many applications. The containerized service will ensure an exponential growth of fault tolerance of applications during peak loads and minimize the downtime during updating. A reliable operation of IT solutions of customers is implemented by automatic monitoring of loading and redistribution of inbound customer traffic between servers.

MTS StartUp Hub is an innovative site to transform technological projects in profitable business, consisting of the corporate accelerator, 5G incubator, MTS venture fund, quick launch of pilot projects and foreign representative offices. The goal of MTS StartUp Hub acceleration program is to develop actively start-up teams through mentoring, training and expert support to prepare products for a pilot project with the company.
